See a beautifully restored 1877 E. Howard & Co. mechanical clock, thanks to the Henry Co. Leadership Class of 2003, the Henry Co. History Center, the Rex Prather
family, Arvin Sango Co. and donations from many others. Originally installed in the new Henry Co. courthouse clock tower in 1877, and operational until the 1960’s,
the restored clock is displayed in the courthouse lobby. Open Monday through Friday 8AM-4PM.

This 1863 Italianate home was purchased in 1997 and restored over the next several years by the Henry Co. Historical Society. The center provides custodial
care for county records and documents dating back to 1798, assists those researching local genealogy and educates the public about the rich cultural heritage of
Henry Co. through publications, exhibits and events. For more information about purchasing “Historic Images of Henry County” call the Chamber at 845-0806. Open
Monday through Friday 10AM to 12 noon or by special arrangement.
